As for the package, we have our standard packaging to make the damage minimize.
Our team of packaging experts will pre pack your fragile and delicate items (such as porcelain, glassware, trinkets, statues, etc.). Wrap them in tissue paper or bubbles, and then wrap them safely in cartons or wooden cases, as we do with paintings, sculptures and pianos. Professional packaging
Many of our customers use high-value antique items as part of their consignment. If you choose this option, you can expect a professional packaging team to use professional materials, including edge banding for protecting fragile edges, bubble packaging for providing additional protection for air cushions, carding for protecting fragile glass and mirrors, and professional cartons, including picture cartons and crates.
Furniture packaging service
When moving furniture overseas, we recommend our professional furniture packaging service. We will carefully wrap your chair, bed, table, dressing table or any other furniture with a blanket to protect the delicate surface from scratching, chipping or tearing. At the beginning and end, our moving team uses a series of professional materials to protect the floors, stairs and other vulnerable areas in your home.
Crates
Large items requiring more protection during transportation can be protected by custom wooden boxes.
The project is measured and a professional crate manufacturer will build a suitable crate. Then, the goods shall be wrapped with appropriate packaging materials and packed and fixed before loading.
Once the goods are returned to the warehouse, our standard packaging agreement is to pack the furniture in foam packaging and cardboard boxes. Then, everything is firmly bound and fixed on the transport tray. We do this for two reasons:
1) This can strengthen and protect the goods and naturally reduce the chance of loss during transportation;
2) Industrial machinery can be used to easily load and unload them on or off the truck, thus eliminating the possibility of damage caused by improper operation and improving efficiency.
For high-value, fragile and / or delicate items, we can provide customized full wooden cases. Of course, packaging procedures vary depending on the complexity and nature of the product, but some of our options include:
Insulated combination crates (high value servers) for electronic equipment.
Crates for all wooden foam polystyrene lined items (antique furniture and artwork).
Type a frame, lined crates for upright items (fragile mirrors and framed paintings)
Hanging crates (chandeliers) for storing items that may be damaged by their own weight.
Skeleton crates are used for larger / heavier items, requiring only a little extra.
